Griffin Catalyst Helps Bring Personalized Math Learning to Thousands of Miami-Dade Students

Griffin Catalyst is helping to bring an innovative new approach to math education to Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), the nation’s third-largest school district. Through a philanthropic grant from Griffin Catalyst, alongside support from the Bezos Family Foundation, M-DCPS will partner with the nonprofit New Classrooms to scale personalized, competency-based math learning across 75 schools over the next three years.

The initiative will integrate Teach to One Roadmaps, a tailored learning platform that generates individualized pathways for students, ensuring each child masters the precise skills needed to achieve math proficiency. Teachers will also gain real-time data to inform instruction, equipping them to better meet the needs of every learner.

The project will launch in approximately 30 schools this school year, expanding to about 75 schools by 2027–28, with potential for further growth.

“New Classrooms is reimagining math education to help students reach their full potential. Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in the classroom, and I am proud to partner with the Bezos Family Foundation to bring this important initiative to students in Miami-Dade County.”

Griffin Catalyst has a longstanding commitment to improving education, contributing more than $900 million to expand access and opportunity for students in Florida and across the U.S.—including significant funding for personalized learning.
