Northwestern Medicine has announced a landmark gift from Ken Griffin to expand access to comprehensive, patient-focused health care and strengthen critical services at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. In recognition of the gift, among the largest in Northwestern Medicine’s history, Lake Forest Hospital will be named Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital in honor of Ken’s mother.
Griffin Catalyst is helping to bring an innovative new approach to math education to Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), the nation’s third-largest school district. Through a philanthropic grant from Griffin Catalyst, alongside support from the Bezos Family Foundation, M-DCPS will partner with the nonprofit New Classrooms to scale personalized, competency-based math learning across 75 schools over the next three years.
